Jon Adams is an honor graduate from Ft. Lewis College with a degree in business, marketing and management. A Colorado resident for thirty-four years, an entrepreneur and skilled businessman, Jon founded and ran several successful companies including a full-service excavation company and completed multiple commercial and residential construction and development projects. A talented and competitive motorcyclist, he has earned multiple regional off-road racing titles including 250A and Overall A in the Rocky Mountain Enduro Circuit. Combining his love of motorcycles with his business skills he founded Hi-Per Sports, Inc. – a young company that soon made the list of 500, Inc. Magazine’s “Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies in the U.S.” Jon went on from there to co-found and become CEO of FMF/Throttlehead.com – a professional factory off-road racing team competing in the Grand National Cross Country Series, AMA National Hare Scrambles Series, and more.
Jon became a Realtor in 2008. His advanced business skills and hard-driving and energetic personality made him Top Producing Associate for First Colorado Land Office from 2009 to 2012 and 2014 as well as being named Realtor of the Year 2015 (Realtors of Central Colorado; North) and has been a Top 5 Producer for the Chaffee County Board of Realtors for those same years. He brings a strong work ethic, a good sense of humor, and a love and knowledge of Salida and Chaffee County – his home of fifteen years –to every business challenge. And it shows.
Jon is an avid bow hunter, snowmobiler, motorcyclist, and general outdoor enthusiast. He lives with his family, horses and dogs in Salida.
